Workplace Parent Education
ParentWell is in the business of growing healthy and wise workplaces and families, always prioritising and valuing relationships and wellbeing.
Take a moment to think about how much time you’ve dedicated to training and upskilling to be great at your job.
Now, contrast that with how much time you’ve spent learning and growing as a parent — chances are, there’s quite a gap! That’s where ParentWell comes in.
We’re here to offer you on-the-job support, fresh insights, and practical strategies. Our goal is to help you grow not just as a parent, but as a person and a professional too.
Lunch & Learn
Lunch & Learn are stand-alone units designed specifically for teams at work, providing an accessible introduction to parenting topics that may inspire deeper engagement through subsequent sessions.
These gatherings offer an opportunity for employees to step away from their desks and daily routines, coming together in a relaxed setting to explore the many complexities of parenting (and/or grandparenting) children.
Organisations often establish employment network groups to foster connections among people working in different teams and departments.
ParentWell will visit your workplace to facilitate honest, practical conversations about the myths and meanings of parenting, helping participants feel less isolated and more supported by their colleagues and will leave a session with new insights and practical ideas to enhance their family life in rewarding and nurturing ways whilst building deeper connections at work.
Lunch & Learn can be offered as a single introductory session or as a series, scheduled regularly at the same time and place over several weeks or spaced out across a few months. This flexible format allows attendees ample time to reflect, put ideas into practice, and share learnings with the group.
By participating in Lunch & Learn, organisations demonstrate a commitment to employee wellbeing and help cultivate a healthy, inclusive workplace culture where personal growth and family engagement are genuinely valued.
Workshops and Webinars
Our workshops are designed to foster strong team engagement, providing a space where colleagues can openly align workplace
expectations with the realities of family life.
Through collaborative participation, attendees help shape a culture that values responsiveness and accountability, supporting both individual and collective wellbeing.
The workshops delve into the parallel challenges we face as parents at home and as team members at work. We explore how strengths, skills, and insights developed in one area can be transferred to the other, leading to enhanced wellbeing for both colleagues and families. This holistic approach encourages growth and resilience across all facets of life.
By choosing to host a workshop, your organisation signals a genuine commitment to employee wellbeing. When people feel recognised, supported, and valued, their overall work experience improves—benefitting both the individual and the organisation as a whole.
Webinars are available as both live and pre-recorded sessions, offering flexible learning opportunities. These can be accessed by workshop attendees at their convenience, extending the learning experience beyond the initial session and supporting ongoing development.
Parent Coaching
ParentWell offers one on one parent-coaching (either at work, on line or in a private practice in Sydney).
These sessions offer individuals or couples the opportunity to address concerns about personal parenting challenges. There is an hourly fee, and parents will be offered a regular, weekly session, and will create a plan that suits their individual needs.
Coaching sessions are, at times, offered to employees as a gesture from the organisation or may be requested by an individual. As with all counselling, these sessions will remain strictly confidential and private.

What people say
We are so grateful for the time Cathy spent with us building our school – her main focus, every day, has been supporting the teachers, their students and their families. Her Parent Outreach Program has become an inspiring model for us all to learn from. Cathy has touched all of our lives, and taken our vision to a new level.
It was an absolute pleasure to have Cathy part of our department. Her calm energy and thoughtful initiatives raised the curiosity of our students, and ensured that their learning was meaningful, relevant and memorable. The students felt safe and attended to, their happy place was the environment she created. Cathy showed us what inclusion looks like, in so many ways.
